Realizing that everything you believe in is complete and utter bullshit.
You want to know what happiness is? It’s waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, shifting under the blankets and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and see them in their most peaceful, innocent, and vulnerable state. They breathe as though the weight of the world lays on anyone’s shoulder but their own. You smile, kiss their face in the most gentle manner so as not to wake them. You turn back around and an involuntary grin forms on your own face. You feel an arm wrap around your waist, and you know it doesn’t get any better than this.
I’m jealous of the morning sun
Who gets to be the first to see you
Or the coffee cup
Who gets to kiss your sleepy lips awake
One of the worst feelings in the world is loneliness. Sitting in the dark by yourself in the wee hours of the night gently crying. Nobody knows what’s going on with you. How could anybody realize what’s happening? Everybody you know is resting peacefully in their bed awaiting the new day tomorrow. But for you, there’s no difference in the days. They pass monotonously. And before you know it… it’s all gone.
We all carry these things inside that no one can see. They hold us down like anchors, they drown us out at sea.
We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.

Head up, stay strong. Fake a smile, move on.
The greatest battle is not physical but psychological. The demons telling us to give up when we push ourselves to the limit can never be silenced for good. They must always be answered by the quiet the steady dignity that simply refuses to give in.
If this love only exists in my dreams, don’t wake me up.
